Step 1: Mark the garage door by using a carpenters pencil. Use a hand grinder to create a lip on the marked pencil line. This will serve as the boundary line for were the epoxy starts.
Step 2: Prepare the garage floor by repairing any cracks or damage. Then clean the garage floor or prep the surface with a diamond grinding machine.
Step 3: Mask any areas needing to be protected from epoxy.
Step 4: Read the epoxy manufacture’s instructions and mix epoxy.
Step 5: Apply the epoxy to the floor using the manufacture’s suggestions.
Step 6: Let the epoxy fully cure before allowing foot or automobile traffic.

The exact cure time will depend on the epoxy manufacture used. Typically epoxy floors are fully cured in 24 – 72 hours.
